MalaysianRecord Verified is an independent review of defined business information. This page explains what may be reviewed, what Verified does and does not mean, and how a status can change.
Verification Scope
Verification may include business identity, official website, address, official contact information, authorised representative and other key company information. The exact approved scope is displayed on the public Verification Record.
Evidence and Review
Applicants may be asked to provide official business contacts, public sources or supporting documents. MalaysianRecord may compare submitted information with public business information before making a decision.
Verification Decisions
Decision statuses are Approved, More Information Required or Declined. Submission and payment, if any, do not guarantee approval.
Validity and Renewal
Approved verification has a defined validity period. A business must complete the required review before expiry to continue presenting a current Verified status.
Expiry, Suspension and Status Changes
A verification may expire or be suspended when validity ends, material information becomes unreliable, evidence can no longer be confirmed, badge-use terms are breached or other review conditions apply.
What Verified Does Not Mean
- It is not a Malaysian government certification.
- It is not a ranking.
- It is not a guarantee of product or service quality.
- It is not a guarantee of future performance.
Fees and Editorial Independence
Any application, review, licensing or service fee must remain separate from the verification decision. Paying a fee does not guarantee approval.
